Vincent Todd Tolman had a magnificent NDE, in which he realized that Love is the foundation and key to all that exists. He returned determined to share this message as widely as possible. Here are some extracts from his book The Light After Death: My Journey To Heaven and Back.
Love is like a tangible energy field. It’s like electricity, only stronger. It’s this energy that powers everything the Source has made.
Once you’ve experienced the pure love of Source, you’ll wake up in the morning loving even the oxygen you breathe.
You can’t miss your life
Your mortal existence is not a test. It’s more like a classroom, where souls can learn and grow. What’s the difference? With a test, you can pass or fail. But Source didn’t create a system of passing and failing. He created a system where everyone succeeds, but only at the speed at which they are able to grow.
If life isn’t a test of success or failure, but rather a way of deciding how fast I want to progress, that changes everything – all the judgments, all the fears, all the negative feelings about what this life is.
Love is the basis of the universe
Love is the foundation of the universe. The world, the cosmos, all universes have been created from true, unequivocal, unconditional and pure love. The Source loves every one of its creations.
We need help. A lot of help. Those who help us most are usually what we call angels, or loved ones who have passed away and have a link with you. They are called by Source to help us. They facilitate our growth and help reinforce true, unconditional love in the physical world.
The more of you that live in Love and share the Light with the world, the more it will touch others and show them the best way.
Love heals all wounds
When we love another person unconditionally, we create a bond with them. When we share Light, we share a force that raises the frequency of our souls. This connection and sharing can help heal the wounds of a lifetime.
You’ll make faster progress and be in closer contact with Source if you learn to listen to your inner voice.
Just as what you eat affects your body, the information you receive affects your soul. What you see, what you hear, what you say: all these things influence the state of your soul at the end of your life. Some people are ready to absorb anything, and technology makes it easier for them to do so, all the time.
Listen to your inner voice
So how do you know what’s good and what’s bad? Your inner voice can help, if you put technology aside long enough to listen. Concentrate on developing your channel of communication with Source. Make sure your antenna is working properly and that you’re paying attention to the messages you’re receiving. If you’re distracted all the time, you simply won’t notice the messages coming through.
The Source created all life. We are all one – much more than you think. When we feel dislike, hatred or prejudice towards one of Source’s creations, we are actually directing these energies towards ourselves.
To hate or judge someone is to hate or judge yourself.
When you love someone unconditionally, you see them as they really are. You see them as they really are, as a child of Source. He has a divine nature, even with his faults. When you see someone as Source sees them, all the labels you put on them disappear.
The Source is love
Whenever you find negative emotions – most often shame and fear – they don’t come from the Source. Whenever you find love, that’s when you’ll find the Source.
Your intention can literally move mountains if it’s pure enough and aligned with Source. However, the power to create with your thoughts can also backfire. How can it backfire? If you think negative thoughts, you’ll create negative things. Even if I don’t want to? What if I’m just thinking about something I want to get rid of? It doesn’t work that way. Focusing on something will only reinforce it, whether for good or bad. If you want to get rid of something negative, you have to think about what you want to replace it with. Focus on what you want and it will naturally replace what you don’t want.
The good will replace the bad as you grow the good.
The Earth is a great gymnasium
Before we came to Earth, we were constantly inundated with the love of The Source. So the idea of making a wrong choice couldn’t even cross our minds. So there was no resistance. Which means there was no growth either. Living on Earth is like going to a spiritual gym to develop and strengthen our spirit and character – the very core of who we are.
Every decision we make is motivated either by fear or joy. When we truly understand Source’s love for us, there’s nothing to fear.
If you find yourself judging someone, it’s because you have an insecurity in your own soul. Let go of this insecurity. Hand it over to The Source. Let it strengthen you where you need it.
Seeing the Source in our own eyes and in those of others
One morning, when I looked in the mirror, I saw The Source in my eyes. That’s when everything started to change for me. I understood that in this world, we have to find the Source within ourselves, and then we can find it in everything else. After seeing the Source in my own eyes, I was able to see it in the eyes of others and in all things.
You have to connect to the Source within yourself and then you can connect with the divine in everyone and everything. I understood that there is a connection to Source in every human being. I knew there was a Source presence in every plant, every animal, every living thing. I understood that there is even Source in things we consider non-living. Source is in everything.
The more attentive we are to the needs of those around us, the happier we are, and the less need we feel for ourselves. Our Source designed us to find joy in helping others.
A light to shine around the world
I hope that sharing what I’ve learned on the “other side” will help to grow the light within you, to spread the light of Source throughout the world, across all cultures, across all religions. To all those who are ready to receive the light of the Source and its message of love and light.
Know that The Source loves you. He knows you personally and He loves you personally. He sees all the beautiful, loving thoughts you’ve had. He also knows all the dark thoughts and actions. His light and love are enough to erase them.
Darkness cannot exist in its light. Let go of judging yourself and others. The Source loves all its creations and is constantly reaching out to us. All. The word “all” is hard for our finite minds to understand, but it’s true. You are part of His whole. It bears repeating. You are part of her whole. She loves you, just as you are. The Source is love. It’s up to us to let ourselves be loved.
