{"id":5768,"date":"2024-01-11T15:19:04","date_gmt":"2024-01-11T15:19:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/la-vie-et-apres.fr\/yes-there-is-life-after-death\/"},"modified":"2025-10-09T06:25:15","modified_gmt":"2025-10-09T06:25:15","slug":"yes-there-is-life-after-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/la-vie-et-apres.fr\/en\/yes-there-is-life-after-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Yes, there is life after death"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-ce-que-les-experiences-de-mort-imminente-nous-revelent-sur-la-vie-la-mort-et-l-amour\"><strong>What Near-Death Experiences tell us about life, death&#8230; and Love<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>The testimonies of people who have experienced an NDE never cease to fascinate &#8211; and with good reason:<br\/>They not only talk about what happens <strong>after death<\/strong>, but also shed light on <strong>how to live fully in the here and now.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>For those who have lived through them, these experiences provide a <strong>shattering vision of existence<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yes, life goes on after the death of the body.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yes, there is a reality of<strong>unconditional love, light and unity<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Yes, death can be a liberation&#8230; not an end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-ce-que-les-emi-nous-disent-en-quelques-mots-nbsp\"><strong>What NDEs tell us, in a nutshell:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>There is a <strong>spiritual universe<\/strong> beyond the physical world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Infinite, unconditional love<\/strong> is the very nature of this other world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are <strong>spiritual beings<\/strong> living a human experience &#8211; not the other way around.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We are <strong>one with all that is<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The only true &#8220;evaluation&#8221; of our earthly life is two questions:  <strong>did we like it? Have we become wiser? <\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After an NDE, fear of death is replaced by inner peace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-le-deroulement-typique-d-une-emi\"><strong>The typical course of an NDE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-1-l-evenement-declencheur\"><strong>1. The triggering event<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Often triggered by a critical situation: cardiac arrest, accident, drowning, surgery&#8230;<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-2-la-sortie-du-corps\"><strong>2. Leaving the body<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The witness sees himself from the outside, floating above his body, and can sometimes perceive scenes from a distance.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-3-le-tunnel-et-la-lumiere\"><strong>3. The tunnel and the light<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>He passes through a dark tunnel and is drawn towards a <strong>light of indescribable intensity and love<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-4-la-rencontre-avec-des-etres-spirituels\"><strong>4. Meeting spiritual beings<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Powerful encounters with <strong>deceased loved ones<\/strong> or <strong>spiritual figures<\/strong>. These beings do not judge, but welcome with love. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-5-la-revue-de-vie\"><strong>5. Life review<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The witness reviews his entire life, feeling <strong>the impact of his actions<\/strong> on others, in <strong>absolute lucidity<\/strong>, but <strong>without any judgment<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-6-la-frontiere\"><strong>6. The border<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>A symbolic limit is perceived: a door, a threshold, a river&#8230; The witness feels he can cross it&#8230; or not. <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-7-la-decision-de-revenir\"><strong>7. The decision to return<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Out of attachment to loved ones or a mission to accomplish, some souls choose to return&#8230; or are sometimes forced to do so.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-8-le-retour-dans-le-corps\"><strong>8. Back in the body<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The return is often brutal, accompanied by physical pain. But <strong>consciousness remains forever transformed<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-nous-ne-sommes-pas-seulement-un-corps\"><strong>We are not just a body<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>NDEs remind us of a truth present in many spiritual traditions:<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>We are spiritual beings living a human experience.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>After physical death, <strong>our consciousness continues<\/strong>, freed from the limits of body, ego, time and space.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-la-mort-n-est-pas-la-fin\"><strong>Death is not the end<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>If we understand that our essence is <strong>spiritual<\/strong>, then death <strong>is no longer an enemy<\/strong>.<br\/>It becomes <strong>a transition<\/strong>, a homecoming.<\/p>\n\n<p><em>&#8220;If you identify with your soul, death is child&#8217;s play. It&#8217;s like taking off shoes that are too tight.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; <em>Ram Dass<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><em>&#8220;Death reveals that the individual we thought we were was only an ephemeral mask.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; <em>St\u00e9phane Allix<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><em>&#8220;We become again an unlimited consciousness, entwined with others, without illusion of separation.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; <em>Bruce Greyson<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-un-monde-d-amour-absolu\"><strong>A world of absolute Love<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>At the heart of all NDEs is <strong>the encounter with an energy of love<\/strong> of indescribable intensity.<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Some call it God, Jesus, Allah, or according to their spiritual tradition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Others say that<strong>no human word<\/strong> can describe it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Many speak of a <strong>being of light<\/strong> who <strong>embodies absolute, infinite, non-judgmental love<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Like neurologist Eben Alexander, who speaks of a: <em>&#8220;Loving deity for whom the word &#8216;God&#8217; is far too weak.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-nous-sommes-un-avec-tout-ce-qui-est\"><strong>We are One with all that is<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>One of experiencers&#8217; strongest realizations is that of <strong>unity<\/strong>.<br\/>They understand &#8211; or feel &#8211; that they are not separate from others, but <strong>connected to the whole living universe<\/strong>.<br\/>They are <strong>a drop in the ocean&#8230; but containing the essence of the ocean.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This sense of unity resonates with the great spiritual wisdoms:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Buddhism<\/strong>,<strong>Hinduism<\/strong>, <strong>Christian<\/strong> or <strong>Sufi<\/strong> <strong>mysticism<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They all teach that <strong>separation is an illusion<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-avons-nous-aime-sommes-nous-devenus-plus-sages\"><strong>Did we like it? Have we become wiser? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>At the time of the life review, <strong>the<\/strong> <strong>only two questions are<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Did we like it?<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Have we become wiser?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p>Not: <em>did we succeed?<\/em> or <em>were we perfect?<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p>And above all: <strong>no religious rules are required<\/strong>. It&#8217;s not a doctrine that saves, but <strong>love lived daily<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-vivre-a-la-lumiere-des-emi\"><strong>Living in the light of NDEs<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>Near-death experiences remind us that :<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Death is not the end<\/strong>, but a change of state.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Our lives take on their full meaning in love, relationships and awareness.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What matters is not <strong>what we possess<\/strong>, but <strong>who we become<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-conclusion-vivre-des-aujourd-hui-dans-l-amour\"><strong>Conclusion: living in Love today<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>What if near-death experiences were not an end, but a <strong>call to begin<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n<p>They don&#8217;t speak to us of dogmas or beliefs.
