<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Near-death experiences are profound and lasting transformations for those who undergo them. Their encounter with absolute, unconditional Love leads them to a life of sharing and opens them up to spirituality. Doctor Bruce Greyson, a pioneer in the study of NDE, explains this in detail in his book “After” – Editions Tr\u00e9daniel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of all the people I interviewed who had encountered what they described as a divine being, one-third gave it a name in line with their religious beliefs, and two-thirds said they couldn’t give it a name. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I felt totally surrounded, encompassed in an incredibly ardent and loving omnipresence of light. The serenity and unconditional love that emanated from it and flowed through me are beyond words.<\/strong> It was me and it wasn’t me. I was THAT and I wasn’t THAT. I was in THAT, of THAT and I was simultaneously a singular individual being. I knew I was invaluable to this presence of light and sound.<\/strong> It was as if I were one of His atoms.<\/strong> A drop of the ocean is the essence of the ocean, although it is not the ocean. The ocean is not complete without the presence of each and every drop that makes it up. That’s how I connected with the light and sound in which I was immersed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important thing is not the name the experiencers used, but what they felt. They all spoke of a feeling of peace, joy, tranquility and, above all, love<\/strong>. The other thing they had in common was that they felt they belonged to an entity that was also infinitely larger than themselves. Many used the image of the wave: a part of the ocean without being the whole ocean. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In any case, this meeting was the highlight of their IME. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDEs transform those who experience them from top to bottom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

There are many possible explanations for NDEs. But the most certain, concrete and measurable fact is that they transform people’s lives, values, beliefs and actions <\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first point is that it radically changes their attitude to death.<\/strong> Almost all of them say they are no longer afraid of it, and know that it is simply a passage to another life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second point is that it gives more meaning to the life of experimenters.<\/strong> Even those who have had an NDE following a suicide attempt. For most of them, this reduces or eliminates the urge to commit suicide. Because they’ve found meaning in their lives, their problems seem less important and\/or they now believe that suicide won’t solve their problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The desire for another life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The third point is that it makes them want to live differently.<\/strong> Experiencers are aware that love, given and received, is the only thing that counts in this world<\/strong>. These people feel loved by a higher power, with much greater compassion and concern for others. Those who return from a NDE are more tolerant and express more acceptance and benevolence towards others. This is because they themselves feel unconditionally loved and accepted, and connected with all living beings and the whole universe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many also say that the most significant change for them has been to develop their spirituality<\/strong>. They have a personal search for inspiration and meaning, a quest to connect with something bigger than themselves. For many, this also includes the conviction that loving and caring for others is the priority. Those who used to have a particular religion often break away from it. For the most part, they express the view that their personal connection with the divine is so strong that no specific religion seems necessary. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also often have a thirst for knowledge<\/strong>. One of them sums up the changes in her life: “I believe that the most important thing is to seek and share knowledge and to receive and return love”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final point is that most experiencers feel more satisfaction in their lives, more gratitude, more optimism and happiness in life. They also say their relationships with others are much better. Finally, they feel they can make better use of their talents. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

These transformations also affect those interested in NDEs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some of the changes in the way we think and live can also be found among those who have simply heard about NDE. There’s a growing body of research to back this up: people who have heard about and studied NDE are more compassionate, more satisfied with themselves and their lives <\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDEs therefore have a knock-on effect. They help others to be less afraid of death, more compassionate and more appreciative of life in all its aspects. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NDEs are first and foremost about our way of life<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In reality, NDEs are not so much about death as they are about life<\/strong>. They speak of the way we live and behave, with ourselves and with others. <\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They challenge us to re-evaluate our lives and transform ourselves in the knowledge that :<\/p>\n\n\n\n
